Dears Visitors,
Open since December 2005, the shop CORNE PORT-ROYAL took over the house TILQUIN, situated at number 9 de la Galerie de la Reine.
The Art Nouveau Style was chosen in homage to Victor Horta. In the shop, you will find the curvilinear forms famous in the 1900s, the lines with the dramatic curves inspired by the crack of a whip decorate the furniture and the chocolate counter. A large stained glass dome and windows, typical of Art Nouveau, where floral designs combine with the lighting effects to create a warm and authentic atmosphere. The Art Nouveau style combines particulary well with the prestigious setting of the St Hubert Gallery.
The furnitures was made by SMITZ&ROCHES in Eelko, the stained glass and the dome were the work of ANDY THORNTON in West Yorshire. All the handles, made by the house VERVLOET in Brussels, are copies of authentic pieces. The shop offers the complete range of CORNE PORT-ROYAL products and it is with a smile that our sale team welcomes you every day of the year from 9.00 am to 23.30pm.
The high attendance by tourists, businessmen and also by local bruxellois, assure a significant volume, ensuring the freshness of our products.
The three displays change during the year depending on the collections offered by CORNE PORT-ROYAL, appropriate to each celebration, each occasion.
You can see on our website a selection from recent months.
